Welcome to RoughageRiders.com
Where Fruits and Vegetables fight back!
We are a group of international friends with similar interests in the Desert Combat and Battlefield 2 online gaming communities. Most of us are older people, but we do have a few younger ones. We usually meet up on Teamspeak for regular online skirmishes with other clans. Our clan believes in fair and honest online gaming. |

Roughage Riders Open Recruiting
If you are interested in joining this clan then you need to do the following:
Fill out this small information questionnaire and email. Then, you will be considered for voting into our clan by the Clan council. Voting will take place for a 14 day period. After 14 days the results will be posted. The Clan Council is made up of 5 founding members that make decisions on any new members and most other major decisions about the clan.
For the Council to make an informed decision about your entry into our group we need to know some things about you. Like who you really are, what you are like, and how you play. To find that out, we need to see you in our public server. Remember that voting takes place only for 14 days, so after applying I would suggest playing in our public server a lot. Making yourself scarce during voting will probably assure you not to get voted into the clan unless a lot of us already know you, or a few council members or clan member vouch for you. Please send me an email with your information.

| Left 4 Dead Demo Released! |
|
{RR}SinisterSalad writes: Left 4 Dead is finally here!
Well, almost, anyway. The full
game won't be available for another week (November 18 on Steam and in
retail stores across America). But you can get a taste of the
blood-splattering, zombie-killing fun right now! We've been playing all
morning. And we're so excited we can't even type! We're just hammering
on the keyboard like gorillas here. Don't believe us? Sbfdlj;asfdkh
asdfhadsfaj hsdfkjhasf! Woo!
Download it and give it a try, then hit the forums and tell us what you think. See you in-game!

{RR}SinisterSalad writes: There has been a lot of discussions on the Battlefield forums regarding the
Battlefield 2 Update 1.50, so this is to let you all know what’s happening.
Update 1.50 is still in development, we have held back on releasing the
update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against
3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience
recently by crashing dedicated servers, clients as well as allowing account
spoofing. We hope you understand our decision to delay the release to resolve
these issues rather than releasing early with a need to update again.
We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year.

The Sandvich is the Heavy’s first unlockable. It tastes as good as it looks and heals 120 health. Like in real life, the decision to eat a Sandvich must not be taken lightly; The Heavy is completely vulnerable during the four second eating process, and his loud, happy sounds of vigorous chewing will draw enemies like tiny ant cowards to a picnic. OF DEATH. On the bright side, the Heavy’s Sandvich supply is unlimited, so his only real concern is being caught short while enjoying this delicious edible device. The Sandvich is a great tool for a Heavy defending an area, as it gives him the ability to replenish health between enemy waves without having to abandon his post. Similarly, an offensive Heavy without a Medic can step back from the front line and grab a quick snack before resuming his rampage. Beware, however: the Heavy must set aside his shotgun to take the Sandvich, and enemy Snipers are much more dangerous for a Heavy wielding only a minigun.

| News Articles: Battlefield 2 celebrates its 3rd year anniversary. |
|
| {RR}SinisterSalad writes: We have some official news from DICE.
"With over 15 million player accounts being created since release, Battlefield 2 is still going strong. On the forums we often see discussions about whether there will ever be another update for the game. Well, today we are happy to announce that we are working on an update for Battlefield 2. We are planning to provide an open beta in the near future and we hope you’ll give us your feedback before final release; so watch out for that.
Keep an eye on www.Battlefield.com for information on what we are working on, release dates and don’t forget to visit our forums.
In the mean time Battlefield Bad Company is released worldwide this week and we expect it will keep you occupied while we work on the update.
-End of Transmission-
Regards,
DICE Live team" Guess we'll have to keep our eyes open. There's talk of a new map that was added to the stats list Shanghi Showdown.
